Gluten Free Holy Communion
Gluten Free Holy Communion is available at all Masses.

The Rosary
The Rosary will be recited before Mass in Glengoole every Saturday evening.

Eucharistic Adoration

  • No Adoration on Wednesday in Glengoole    
  • Gortnahoe Thurs 10am to 1pm.
    Come sit awhile in silent prayer.

Easter Clergy Collection
Easter Clergy Collection for the priests of the Archdiocese is presently been taken up. Our Parish Target for 2025 is €31,536. Cheque payments for all Church collections must be made out to “Gortnahoe Parochial Account” and not to the name of the collection. Thanking you in advance for your generosity.

Divine Mercy Chaplet
Nine-Day Novena begins on Good Friday (after 3 pm Ceremony in the Cathedral) Each day from Bóthar na Naomh Church at 3pm to Easter Saturday. Celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday 27th April in Thurles Cathedral. Prayers beginning at 2.30pm with Mass at 4pm. Join us in prayer and receive the great grace of this Novena.

Meet the Saints
Meet the Saints continues Monday, 7th April at 7.45pm in Lámh Chúnta, Bothar Na Naomh with focus on the lives of the saints of Japan. All are welcome.

Visitation of the Sick
It is the duty of every priest to visit the sick, whether housebound, in nursing homes or in hospital. If you have a family member who is sick in hospital (Kilkenny, Clonmel, Limerick, Dublin, Cork, etc.) or are resident in a nursing home and who, you believe, would appreciate a visit, please ring Fr. Walton or let him know after Mass and he will do his best to visit them.
